With this simple Shopping Cart You are not taken to A Download Page after payment. as you need to Sign Up for you Free Help With your own Projects. This Free Help is only offered to Manual Purchasers & has no time limits or restrictions. Please also give your level of expertise as this will enable me to appreciate the amount of help & information you may require. Once I receive PayPals confirmation of Payment & your email I will email you your download link. You can use the quick "Contact Us" link below or email me on info@theleatherconnection.com if you wish to send a long & detailed email or pictures. (Please Make Sure That the Email Address Provided is Active It is very frustrating for me trying to send a Download link to an email address & then have it returned as Undeliverable).
For Customers wishing to use Google CheckOut as the preferred payment system please use their pay button below. But make sure you select the required Manual first by entering the right number in the Drop Down List.
Why have I changed the method of Payment from direst Download after Payment to PayPal & set up this new page so that Customers purchasing through PayPal Now have to adopt the same methods as those using Google Checkout? It became necessary after a PayPal clients account was compromised & used to purchase goods including 4 of my Manuals. this has been placed in the hands of the UK police Internet Fraud Squad by PayPal. I am involved as one of the victims as Manuals were obtained using their clients account. If anyone is offered Copies of these Manuals without On-line Help please contact your local police.
From that point of view Direct Downloads have proved too much of a risk as the third party providing the downloads (PayDotCom) offer no protection to their clients.
The Following is an email reply I sent to A potential purchaser who intends to take up this Ancient Craft. He was concerned about getting the best help available & from someone who knew all about making things from leather. That he could access information that would enable him to become a skilled Craftsman. that he would not be fobbed off with half baked information of the type that normally accompanies Home Kits. From someone who he could rely on for help when he needed it. A tall order? No read the reply I sent below:
Greetings (Name withheld),
Thank you for contacting me. I am the only top level Craftsman on-line offering Professional Craft Skills in the form of a series of extensive Manuals backed up by Free On-line help to all purchasers. This is in line with the UK Governments requirements for e-learning. I am listed by the Government Skills Learning Department. These Manuals are the only source of cutting, material assessment & Costing in relation to leather.
My background was as a top level Craftsman making for top London Stores, Royalty, Film Stars & the Rich & Famous. I have Industrial Training Qualifications (see after my signature). I was the HOD at the London Leather College (prior to retirement) They ran the now defunct 2 year full time City & Guilds Leathergoods Course Which I moderated for all UK colleges offering that course. I also have Assessment Qualifications which enabled me to mark written papers as well as assess students Practical Work.
My set of Manuals when finished will form an Encyclopedia on this craft. My Manuals are not just equal to that old leathergoods course as I have gone that extra mile & included skills & technology that was not even taught in that course. (mainly due to time available & costs). The Manuals are a 'one size fits all' & are in use by Beginners, Student, Amateurs & Craftsmen updating their skills.
If you intend to take up this Craft as a profession you need all the manuals.as they interlink, as in later manuals I refer back to parts of earlier Manuals rather than repeat skills explained earlier. The Manuals are by download & I send a link to purchasers after payment.
Regards Francis Burdett-Mills (Chartered) MCIPD
